ესტრელა ალონსო: ოფიციალური ვიდეომიმართვა სახელმძღვანელოს „კონფლიქტების გაშუქება“ პრეზენტაციისთვის
🇬🇪 ძვირფასო ზაზა, ძვირფასო მეგობრებო,
ჩემთვის დიდი პატივი და სიამოვნებაა, თუნდაც ვიდეოფორმატში, შემოგიერთდეთ დღეს ზაზა ცოტნიაშვილის სახელმძღვანელოს „კონფლიქტების გაშუქება“ პრეზენტაციაზე. ეს არის ნაშრომი, რომელიც, უდავოდ, პასუხობს თანამედროვე ჟურნალისტური განათლების სფეროში არსებულ რეალურ და მწვავე საჭიროებებს.
უპირველეს ყოვლისა, მსურს ხაზი გავუსვა, რომ აღნიშნული სახელმძღვანელო ავსებს მნიშვნელოვან ვაკუუმს ქართულ აკადემიურ სივრცეში, სადაც კონფლიქტების კვლევა ვერ ვითარდებოდა საინფორმაციო რეალობის პარალელურად. ზაზა ამ გამოწვევას პრივილეგირებული პოზიციიდან იღებს: როგორც მკვლევარი, რომელიც სადოქტორო დისერტაციიდან მოყოლებული სიღრმისეულად სწავლობს კონფლიქტებს და, რაც მთავარია, როგორც ლექტორი, რომელმაც ზუსტად იცის, რა სჭირდებათ დღეს ჟურნალისტიკის სტუდენტებს.
იგი გვთავაზობს მკაფიო კონცეფციას: ეს არის წიგნი, რომელიც არ შემოიფარგლება მხოლოდ ომებზე საუბრით. სათაურით „კონფლიქტების გაშუქება“, მკითხველი აღმოაჩენს ფართო და კომპლექსურ გზამკვლევს სოციალური, რელიგიური, ტექნოლოგიური, ეკონომიკური, გარემოსდაცვითი და, რა თქმა უნდა, საინფორმაციო კონფლიქტების სამყაროში. ეს მიდგომა ზუსტად ასახავს იმ რეალობას, რომ კონფლიქტი აღარ წარმოადგენს მხოლოდ შეიარაღებულ დაპირისპირებას, არამედ გულისხმობს იმ ღრმა დაძაბულობას, რომელიც ჩვენს ცხოვრებას გასდევს.
სახელმძღვანელოს ერთ-ერთი უმთავრესი ღირსება მისი მეთოდოლოგიური სტრუქტურაა. ცამეტ თავში ავტორი არ შემოიფარგლება მხოლოდ განმარტებებით, არამედ ამყარებს ცოცხალ დიალოგს მკითხველთან. თითოეული თემა აერთიანებს თეორიას, რეალური ქეისების ანალიზს, საკონტროლო კითხვებსა და პრაქტიკულ დავალებებს, რაც საბოლოოდ ჟურნალისტური პროდუქტის შექმნით გვირგვინდება. სხვაგვარად რომ ვთქვათ, წიგნი გვასწავლის როგორც აზროვნებას, ისე პრაქტიკულ განხორციელებას.
გარდა ამისა, წიგნი მუდმივად ეყრდნობა საერთაშორისო ჟურნალისტიკის საუკეთესო მაგალითებს. მის ფურცლებზე ვხვდებით ისეთ სახელებს, როგორებიცაა: კრის ჰეჯესი, ჯონ პილჯერი, ჯერემი ბოუენი, რიშარდ კაპუშცინსკი, მარია რესა, მარი კოლვინი და მრავალი სხვა. არა როგორც შორეულ ფიგურებს, არამედ როგორც ცოცხალ მაგალითებს იმისა, თუ როგორ უნდა განხორციელდეს ეთიკური, გაბედული და ღრმად ჰუმანური ჟურნალისტიკა.
სწორედ აქ იძენს ეს სახელმძღვანელო, ჩემი აზრით, განსაკუთრებულ განზომილებას. იგი არა მხოლოდ აყალიბებს უკეთეს პროფესიონალებს, არამედ მკითხველის წინაშე სვამს მორალურ კითხვას: „რა შემიძლია გავაკეთო მე, როგორც ჟურნალისტმა, რათა ჩემი საქმიანობით წვლილი შევიტანო უკეთესი სამყაროს შენებაში?“ ამ თვალსაზრისით, „კონფლიქტების გაშუქება“ სამშვიდობო მისიის მატარებელი წიგნია.
დაბოლოს, ხაზი მინდა გავუსვა მის მკაფიოდ გამოხატულ საერთაშორისო ხასიათს. მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ სახელმძღვანელო საქართველოში არსებული კონკრეტული საჭიროების დასაკმაყოფილებლად შეიქმნა, მისი თეორიული მიდგომა, სადემონსტრაციო ქეისები და პროფესიული ორიენტირები მას აქცევს წიგნად, რომლის გამოყენებაც წარმატებით შეიძლება მსოფლიოს ნებისმიერი უნივერსიტეტის ჟურნალისტიკის ფაკულტეტზე.
საბოლოო ჯამში, ჩვენ წინაშეა აკადემიურად ზუსტი, თანამედროვე, ღირებულებებზე დაფუძნებული და უაღრესად საჭირო ნაშრომი. ეს არის სახელმძღვანელო, რომელიც გვასწავლის არა მხოლოდ კონფლიქტების გადმოცემას, არამედ ამის კეთებას პასუხისმგებლობით, კონტექსტის გათვალისწინებითა და ჰუმანურობით.
გილოცავ, ზაზა, ამ ბრწყინვალე ნამუშევარს. მადლობა იმ ნაშრომის შექმნისთვის, რომელიც, უდავოდ, კვალს დატოვებს ჟურნალისტთა მრავალ თაობაზე. და მადლობა იმისთვის, რომ მომეცით საშუალება, მცირედი წვლილი შემეტანა ამ მნიშვნელოვან საქმეში.

queridas amigas y amigos,
Es para mí una gran satisfacción poder acompañaros hoy, aunque sea a través de este vídeo, en la presentación del manual Cobertura de conflictos, de Zaza Tsotniashvili. Un libro que, sin duda, nace para cubrir una necesidad real y urgente dentro de la formación periodística contemporánea.
Como primera idea fundamental, me gustaría destacar que este manual viene a rellenar un vacío importante en el ámbito académico georgiano, donde los estudios sobre el conflicto no habían evolucionado al mismo ritmo que la realidad informativa. Zaza asume ese reto desde una posición privilegiada: la de un investigador profundo del conflicto desde su tesis doctoral y, sobre todo, la de un docente consciente de lo que hoy necesitan los estudiantes de Periodismo.
Y lo hace con una propuesta muy clara: un libro que no se limita a hablar de guerras. Bajo el título Cobertura de conflictos, el lector descubre un recorrido amplio y complejo por los conflictos sociales, religiosos, tecnológicos, económicos, medioambientales y, por supuesto, informativos. Un enfoque que refleja con acierto que el conflicto ya no es solo una cuestión de frentes armados, sino de tensiones profundas que atraviesan nuestras sociedades.
Uno de los grandes aciertos del manual es su estructura pedagógica. A lo largo de sus trece capítulos, el autor no se limita a explicar, sino que establece una auténtica conversación con el lector. Cada tema combina teoría, estudio de casos reales, preguntas de comprensión y tareas prácticas que culminan en la creación de productos periodísticos. Es decir, se enseña a pensar… y también a hacer.
Además, el libro se apoya constantemente en referentes del mejor periodismo internacional. Por sus páginas desfilan nombres como Chris Hedges, John Pilger, Jeremy Bowen, Ryszard Kapuściński, Maria Ressa o Marie Colvin, entre muchos otros. No como figuras lejanas, sino como ejemplos vivos de cómo se ejerce un periodismo ético, valiente y profundamente humano.
Y es precisamente ahí donde, a mi juicio, este manual adquiere una dimensión especial. Porque no solo forma mejores profesionales, sino que lanza una pregunta moral al lector:
“¿Qué puedo hacer yo, como periodista, para contribuir a un mundo mejor con mis informaciones?”
En ese sentido, Cobertura de conflictos es también —y esto es un enorme valor— un libro con perspectiva de paz.
Por último, quiero subrayar su vocación claramente internacional. Aunque el manual nace para cubrir una necesidad concreta en Georgia, su enfoque teórico, sus casos de estudio y sus referentes profesionales lo convierten en un libro que podría utilizarse perfectamente en cualquier facultad de Periodismo del mundo.
En definitiva, estamos ante una obra rigurosa, actual, comprometida y profundamente necesaria. Un manual que no solo enseña a contar conflictos, sino a hacerlo con responsabilidad, con contexto y con humanidad.
Enhorabuena, Zaza, por este magnífico trabajo.
Y gracias por aportar una obra que, sin duda, dejará huella en muchas generaciones de periodistas. Y gracias por permitirme aportar un pequeño granito de arena a este proyecto tan bonito.

It is a great pleasure for me to be able to accompany you today, even if only through this video, at the presentation of the manual Coverage of Conflicts by Zaza Tsotniashvili. This is a book that undoubtedly emerges to address a real and urgent need within contemporary journalism education.
As a first fundamental point, I would like to highlight that this manual fills a significant gap in the Georgian academic landscape, where conflict studies have not evolved at the same pace as the realities of the modern information environment. Zaza takes on this challenge from a privileged position: that of a deep researcher of conflict since his doctoral dissertation, and, above all, that of a lecturer who is fully aware of what today’s journalism students truly need.
He does so through a very clear proposal: a book that does not limit itself to discussing wars. Under the title Coverage of Conflicts, the reader encounters a broad and complex journey through social, religious, technological, economic, environmental, and, of course, informational conflicts. This approach accurately reflects the fact that conflict is no longer solely a matter of armed fronts, but rather of profound tensions that permeate our societies.
One of the major strengths of this manual lies in its pedagogical structure. Throughout its thirteen chapters, the author does not merely explain concepts, but establishes a genuine dialogue with the reader. Each topic combines theory, real case studies, comprehension questions, and practical tasks that culminate in the creation of journalistic products. In other words, the book teaches how to think—and also how to do.
Moreover, the manual consistently draws on references from the very best of international journalism. Its pages feature figures such as Chris Hedges, John Pilger, Jeremy Bowen, Ryszard Kapuściński, Maria Ressa, and Marie Colvin, among many others—not as distant icons, but as living examples of ethical, courageous, and profoundly human journalism.
It is precisely here, in my view, that this manual acquires a particularly meaningful dimension. Because it does not only train better professionals, but also poses a moral question to the reader:
“What can I do, as a journalist, to contribute to a better world through my reporting?”
In this sense, Coverage of Conflicts is also—and this is of enormous value—a book with a peace-oriented perspective.
Finally, I would like to emphasize its clearly international vocation. Although the manual was conceived to meet a specific need in Georgia, its theoretical approach, its case studies, and its professional references make it a book that could be perfectly used in any faculty of Journalism around the world.
In short, we are faced with a rigorous, up-to-date, committed, and deeply necessary work. A manual that not only teaches how to report on conflicts, but how to do so with responsibility, context, and humanity.
Congratulations, Zaza, on this outstanding work.
And thank you for contributing a book that will undoubtedly leave a lasting mark on many generations of journalists.
