The Bench in the Park

Every evening, Lucia goes to sit on a bench in the park near her house. She enjoys watching the sky and listening to the birds. One day, an elderly man with a blue hat arrives. He sits down next to her and smiles.

"Good evening" says Lucia.

"Good evening" responds the man.

"Do you come here often?" Lucia nods.

"Yes, I like to stay a while in silence after work."

The man looks at the sky and says softly: "I used to come here with my wife too. Now I come to remember her."

Lucia stays silent, then says gently: "Then you're not alone. She is still here, in your heart."

The man smiles, with bright eyes. From that day on, Lucia and the man meet every evening on the same bench, to watch the sunset together.

La panchina nel parco

Ogni sera, Lucia va a sedersi su una panchina nel parco vicino a casa. Le piace guardare il cielo e ascoltare gli uccellini. Un giorno, arriva un signore anziano con un cappello blu. Si siede accanto a lei e sorride.

— Buonasera — dice Lucia.

— Buonasera — risponde il signore.

— Vieni spesso qui? Lucia annuisce.

— Sì, mi piace stare un po' in silenzio dopo il lavoro.

L'uomo guarda il cielo e dice piano: — Anch'io venivo qui con mia moglie. Ora vengo per ricordarla.

Lucia resta in silenzio, poi dice dolcemente: — Allora non sei solo. Lei è ancora qui, nel tuo cuore.

L'uomo sorride, con gli occhi lucidi. Da quel giorno, Lucia e il signore si incontrano ogni sera sulla stessa panchina, a guardare il tramonto insieme.

ყოველ საღამოს ლუჩია დადის პარკში, სახლთან ახლოს, რომ ჩამოჯდეს სკამზე. მას სიამოვნებს ცაში ყურება და ფრინველების მოსმენა. ერთ დღეს ხვდება ხანდაზმულ მამაკაცს, რომელსაც ლურჯი ქუდი ეხურა. ის ჩამოჯდა მის გვერდით და გაუღიმა.

"საღამო მშვიდობისა" - მიესალმა ლუჩია.

"საღამო მშვიდობისა" - უპასუხა მამაკაცმა.

"ხშირად მოდიხარ აქ?" ლუჩია დაუქნევს თავს.

"დიახ, მიყვარს სამსახურის შემდეგ, ცოტა ხნით სიჩუმეში ჯდომა."
